Thursday, October 29, 2009 || 10:32 PM

Remember how I was talking about a "helen kim" in my previous blog?
Wells this is what I meant, ahahs

One day, my friend Wilson & I somehow randomly decided to google our names (no, we're not sad /shiftyeyes) And then for fun, I emailed the Helen Kim I found.
& Guess what? Surprising enough, she replied.

Hello Helen,

Yes, I like my name even though it is very common.

This is actually my married name. My maiden name was Helen Shin.

Are you also Korean? I am a very successful loan consultant in Orange County, Calif..

I noticed that you were an artist. What an interesting field. I also studied art at UC Irvine but

I am a much better loan consultant than artist.

I can’t imagine that any Helen Kim could have no life. Your name is made for success and happiness!

I hope you enjoy life as much as I do…you are still young with so much to look forward too.

As a fellow “Helen Kim”, I wish you much luck and happiness! By the way, who is Hirosuki? Is that your animation

character name?

There are so many blogs to catch up with, why does everyone start blogging when I'm so fucking loaded with assignments?
I really cbf doing anymore at the moment. Sigh.

My brother's Simpsons bathrobe is comfy, and I have the heater on full blast.
The weather right now is pretty warm though, sounds pretty screwed up hey?

Helen Kim replied back to me, but I shall blog about that in the upcoming blog.

Sleep tight for now ♥

Take off your shoes

More Bloons you bitch. Distracting me up til 3AM last night from finishing off an essay.
A TOILET TRIP TO REMEMBER
Thanh: Ahah, you're so small!

Helen: /daggers, you're like the same size woman.

Thanh: Lets see in the mirror!

Helen: .. GG, but its your shoes!

Thanh: Nooo way man.

Helen: Take off your shoes!

Random primary school kid in the corner: I don't want to take off my shoes D:
Helen: .. erhhs what? O_______O
Anyways moving along, I loved the weather today! It was so nice and warm, and plus when we went inside the classrooms the air-con made it feel so nice. Icecream and swimming made the day even better. After school I tagged along with my brother to the Aquatics Center which I'm planning on doing every week for the rest of the term. Because I look more grown up now compared to before, my mum takes me into the sauna & spas with her. I guess you could say its our motherly-daughterly time with each other where we gossip about the "adult" world, hah I find it so interesting to listen to stories about wrinkle-less 95 year old women who use nutmeg cream on their faces and the latest person to go into plastic surgery/botox.
Ohs and I don't want to sound like a pedo or anything but I was checking out my brother's tummy and wooahs, he's developing abs already. (Y), I'm so jealous. LOL. My mum even said that he can do like 15 push ups in a row these days, & ffs I can't even manage .. (insert#)

Back to homework nows, bye bye :)

A good always follows a bad

AIM: To finish this blog before 8:30PM, when Flash Forward goes on.

As most of you already know, today was the first day back at school for many here in Adelaide. (Apart from other lucky cunts at some schools) It didn't really feel like the first day back for me, more like just a continuation of something, similar to a long weekend break or something along the lines of that. It was also great to see the faces of everyone again, ahah and I swear everyone agreed on the same thing. Bloody holidays, put on (insert number) amount of weight.
Eh, but that's probably because its an all girls school so we're used to these types of complaints.

The bad news came first thing in the morning, my poster I entered for the social poster competition didn't win. There were two winners and yet mine still wasn't one of them. Plus, I'd have to admit I put much much much effort into that poster, I even got Vivian to pose for me for one of the .. legs? Lol, here I'll upload my version of the poster so you understand what I mean. Perhaps mine was a tad bit sexual? L O L

Then there were the good news, I was chatting to my friend Zahra and she was going on about the new house she was going to move into. "Where's this house of yours?" I asked her. She replied with, "I forgot". Somehow I managed to make her remember and tracked it down to somewhere around where I live. Near Oakden sorta. And surprise surprise, she might be able to catch my bus with me ;D Yet another awesome person to catch my bus. (Y)

Tiffany's also making her return to school tomorrow, since she was probably too jet lagged to return right after her flight from HK today, LOL. That bitch better brought us back Krispy Kremes from stopping in Melbourne/Sydney or some fobby Asian food :)

Bahahahs, just finished at 8:30PM exactly.
But Flash Forward still isn't on TV yet ):

Kei ♥ Hikari
Friday, October 9, 2009 || 4:34 PM

My oh my, it's back to assignments, tests and unhealthy all-nighters in just two more days.

Recapping back on the holidays, I don't think I actually have accomplished as much as I wanted to. Apart from finishing watching an entire anime (Special A) and Gossip Girl season 2. I guess that's quite an accomplishment for me. I tend to always stop watching things halfway.
Oh and the anime's a really sweet one too, compliments of Rita and I'd have to say it got me pretty damn addicted. I the relationship between Kei & Hikari. You'll get what I mean if you watch it too.

Hahah, & for some reason I kept watching its 2nd opening.
Reminds me of those primary school days where I used to watch anime all day :)

I haven't been out at all this week, wells not with any friends (A), so Yum Cha and stuff wouldn't count yeahs? Oh my mum took me to take passport photos the other day as well, and ewwwww, they turned out so bad Y___Y". Even my 9 year old brother was dissing me.
It's pretty cool how they use a polaroid to take passport photos though.

Today I was able to call up Jaymee! It was so nice hearing her voice again after so long, and plus its so much easier talking on the phone rather than online. I soooo have to go back to again Sydney soon, miss so many people there. I think I might call Jessica up soon, haven't talked to her for ages too. Actually I haven't phoned many people at all lately.

GOD, I CBF DOING ANYTHING (excluding eating).

just a coincidence.

One thing I've learnt/thought about after watching 500 Days of Summer. (note: it's a chick-flick not worth watching in cinemas; if I were to watch it on the computer I'd already have turned it off halfway)

There's no such thing as "fate".

The future is always changing and is never definite. Some days that we live through aren't significant towards the main outcome of our petty lives, whilst some are and can make a huge change in them. Half of my life, I can't remember. That's because those days weren't as meaningful in as many ways as others and maybe for a quarter of those days, even if I didn't live them it wouldn't make much of a difference to who I am today. Many of my close friends, I believe I met by 'coincidence'. For example, my girls at SAC. What if I hadn't attended that school and went somewhere else like Adelaide High or Norwood? How different would my life be now?

This is just something I think is worth-while and interesting to think about.
What is something that has 'coincidentally' occurred to you in life, that has been very significant? What would've happened if that 'coincidence' never occurred?

You may disagree on this point of view, but I believe it's an interesting perspective to look at regarding life. Personally though, I would probably change my mind about this later on but oh wells.
Goodnight ♥
Maybe today a coincidence of importance might happen to you.
