There's this girl, who I guess I would call my "best friend" during the time I was around 5 til 8. I think she was my first best friend, we grew apart sorta when she moved to St. Dominics, but seeing as our parents were quite fond of the other - we still saw each other from time to time. Then she moved to Queensland. We grew even more distant then, I suppose you could say that by then we barely even knew each other anymore. I was living almost a completely different life from her, and vice versa. She did come back to Adelaide, and still is here. You could say that it's my fault that we're so distant these days. I don't even put any effort into seeing her, or even talking to her. This may sound a bit mean but I think I prefer it this way. (Nah jokes, I just really cbf) 
But I won't ever forget her. She was the one who I went ice-skating for the first time ever with. And all those birthdays we had together. Actually, don't worry I'll catch up with her one day :)
