Day 20 - The one that broke your heart the hardest

Elephants have been known to die of broken hearts if a mate dies. They refuse to eat and will lay down, shedding tears until they starve to death. They refuse all human help.
Honestly, I don't think I've had my heart
broken. Wells, broken to that extent that I just crumble and tumble and you get the point. I think the closest to this was back when I was quite
naive, and
ignorant. I really didn't know a thing then, and didn't know how to stand up for myself and be independent. This left me vulnerable to these kind of things, and I didn't know how to handle the situation when it came. Thus, when it did - it'd it me hard. The one who did it, I think - back then was a total leader. Not a leader - "a person who rules or guides or inspires others", but like a leader who tends to lead girls on. Player? And I suppose fell for him on the way. Oh, but these days he seems like a pretty cool guy! Because he's not the guy he was back then (I think). People
change, and it appears as he's completely changed as well. Him and his girlfriend are adorable together, and I still wave/ etc at him whenever I see him. So it's s'all good!
I'm actually pretty glad I experienced that whilst I was younger though, because believe it or not I learnt so much from that experience and has contributed into shaping out the person I am today.
