LONG POST ALERT
Personally, I thought that yeah it'd be pretty easy to find a nice formal dress but seems like a whole days (and a half) worth of shopping proved me wrong. I swear the only dress which appealed to me was from WildChild down at Hyde Park. Hyde Park. I hate the price tags there, this one had a price tag of
$400.
But it ain't bout the money money ... no shutup you. Another rant about that song in particular later. The really pretty ones are in the grands. Thankgod, in a way that I already have a dress from Sydney. It's cute I suppose, but I just want something else. It's that feeling you get when you've had something in your wardrobe for so long that it no longer feels special to you anymore. You lose feelings for it. This, my friend is the '
downhill' stage of our relationship. Haha, jokes I've been watching too much WongFu Productions. For those who haven't seen this latest video of theirs - I highly recommended it. The duration of it puts you off, yes. Even I thought to myself last night that I wouldn't watch the entire 16 minutes of it. But hey, these amazing guys always get to me.
Sorry we were getting a bit sidetracked there, as I was saying - seeing all these dresses around made me feel that my dress was a lot more special than I thought it was. Guess this is the '
secret stage' of our relationship. Falling in love all over again, sorta. Shout out to all the other dresses I've missed out there - I'm still available! :( But now, I'm looking for that perfect extra touch to the dress I'm "most likely" going to wear to formal. Shoes. Just to let you know, my dress is gold and sparkly. A bit difficult to describe in words. So, I'm thinking of getting these shoes! I put a layby already on it, just incase I can't find anything else.
Apparently they're the last pair left in the state for my size, eeek!
So what are your opinions on it? The black pair of them are hot, but I'm guessing they're all sold out too..
Oh, this is just a funny random moment but I was with my mum and brother, going up the ramp .. escalator.. thing and as usual I go on ahead but my mum was stuck with the trolley so she just stood there and behind her came all these boys around 16-17, my age. There were like probably 10 of them, all crowded around her. It was just awkwardly hilarious.
And another thing! I'm pretty sure most of you's would have seen that competition on a while back, the whole summer rewind, enter codes from drinks like Solo, Pepsi and that and win a T-shirt? And guess what came in the mail yesterday ;)
